I will be advocating towards a thriving, progressive and safe coastal village community for families and future generations.

The ten key areas I believe to be the most important right now (in no particular order) are:

  1. Safer traffic management solutions for the Mordialloc Level Crossing.

  2. Advocating for alternative vehicle access to ease traffic congestion caused by Bear St closure.

  3. Revitalising the Parkdale shopping precinct into a thriving village to support local businesses.

  4. Replacing the underpass tunnel next to Mordialloc creek.

  5. Beautifying Parkdale's skyrail with vibrant mural artworks and greenery.

  6. Upgrading recreation spaces, parks and playgrounds to cater for increased use of these facilities.

  7. Better access to mental health support and improved mental health education in schools.

  8. Improving off-leash dog spaces such as Kevin Hayes Reserve and Walter Galt Reserve to improve usability and safety of our pets.

  9. Encouraging equal opportunity communities where everyone feels safe and secure.

  10. Maintaining our beautiful beaches and foreshores to ensure they are clean, hygienic, safe and accessible for everyone to enjoy!

Melaleuca ward

Melaleuca ward, made up of Mordialloc and south Parkdale was named after the Melaleuca trees which are indigenous to Kingston, and are common today both in nature reserves, parks and as street trees and add to the biodiversity of our city. The scented paperbark (Melaleuca squarrosa), and Swamp Paperbark (Melaleuca ericfolia) line the Mordialloc Creek which is a major feature of our ward and of the City of Kingston.
